Remote Desktop client for Windows end of support

 The Remote Desktop client for Windows will reach end of support on March 27, 2026.

IT admins should start planning to migrate users to the Windows App before that date to ensure continued access to remote resources like Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, and Microsoft Dev Box.

The current client will keep getting security updates until support ends, but after that, it won’t be available for download anymore.
